Acuren is currently recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Canadian Pacific Region. This position will be based out of the Richmond office. This position will be a combination of remote and office work.


Position Summary:


The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), is a vital conduit between Human Resources and management, serving as a strategic partner to align human resources priorities with the business strategy by delivering comprehensive and fully integrated, sustainable HR programs for regional/service line functions of Acuren.

The HRBP will help drive a high performing culture that supports Acuren's vision and values.


Responsibilities
The HR BP will provide support and services around three (3) key areas Regional Leadership support, active participation as a member of the HR Leadership Team and Regional Compliance initiatives

  • Establishing and maintaining an intimate understanding of the regional business strategy and objectives
  • Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Coaching and educating regional managers regarding HR programs such as organizational design, performance management, change management, employee engagement, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development;
  • Develops business leader capability by providing ongoing coaching on key organizational and management issues, and feedback on personal and team performance
  • Attends and actively participates in client groups' leadership and management team meetings and discussions
  • Working closely with HRBP colleagues to establish consistent and standardized program delivery strategies
  • Collaborating with the HR Service Center and Communities of Expertise to develop and implement HR programs and solutions
  • Sharing situational experience and best practices to support growth and development
  • Analyzing trends and metrics produced by the HRIS team to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that improve program effectiveness
  • Collaborating to develop strategies to address emerging issues and trends
  • Communicating and educating Managers and staff regarding organizational policies and procedures
  • Maintaining currency and supporting regional understanding of jurisdictional employment legislation;
  • Developing integrated approaches and education to support diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Assists regional management to reduce legal risk and enable fair and consistent treatment of employees

Qualifications

  • The position requires completion of a postsecondary degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience.
  • Experience with union environment is required
  • A professional designation CHRP would be considered an asset.
