Project Manager, Planning and Development

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work directly and cooperatively with Team Members within the Cavanagh Group of Companies to achieve project approvals in a timely manner.
Experience working on both urban and rural residential subdivision development projects within the City of Ottawa and neighbouring Municipalities an asset.
Working knowledge of current standard urban design and civil design practices of multiuse land development projects.
Coordinate and manage Project Consultant Team to obtain required submission materials on time and within budget.
Oversee project budgets and cashflows against approved Proformas
Participate in relevant industry events and committees
Monitor and report on relevant industry issues as well as project related issues at City Council, Community Council, Committees of Council and Public Meetings
Provide planning advice regarding land use matters to Team Members within the Cavanagh Group of Companies.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years directly related experience
Degree in Urban Planning or equivalent
Experience with COR (Certificate of Recognition) an asset
