ACCOUNTING CLERK
Accounting & Finance | Remote, British Columbia

Are you passionate about food technology? We're Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our meal planning platform.

We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform Daily Invoicing and payment reconciliations
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
Resolve clients' billing issues
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Monitor aged receivables
Identify delinquent accounts requiring collection efforts
Identifying potential bad debt or financial exposure
Update Financial Databases
Support Financial Staff as well as internal staff
Support Financial Staff with financial month end tasks
Perform General Administrative Duties

SKILL SET/EXPERIENCE:

12 Years of experience in accounting/finance in a corporate environment
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping best practices and corporate accounting principles
Selfstarter who can tackle projects with a high degree of ownership, organization and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in financial reporting and utilizing quantitative information to drive decisions
A natural team player who can effectively collaborate with others to drive execution of plans and objectives
Solutionsoriented mindset with the ability to distill problems into actionable steps
