    Job Type: Full-Time

    Salary Range $95k-$105k

    As the new leader of one of Bayshore's local Neighborhood Health Teams (NHTs), we offer you the chance to make a difference in your community, to improve access to healthcare by delivering top quality care, and to do meaningful work

    As the Nurse Manager of your own Neighborhood Health Team, you will be hands-on in the community, providing direct client care, leading a team of care providers, and building your client base to expand services to clients and their families.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providetraining and coaching to clients and caregivers with regular home visits in the community; the successful candidate will be required to provide hands-on care as the on-call Nurse as needed.
  • Conduct ongoing community outreach and networking by building positive and collaborative partnerships within the community that will promote this innovative approach to home care.
  • Supervise and support all employees to ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources concerning recruitment and selection, orientation and training, discipline, and annual performance review of reporting Neighborhood Health Team members.
  • Job Qualification

    CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

  • A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) registration with BCCNM.
  • Current and valid CPR certification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent nursing experience, preferably in a community setting.
  • Experience with business development is a strongly preferred asset.
  • A reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to visit clients within the community (roughly 70% in the field); mileage is reimbursed.
  • A solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to clients as well as program development, implementation and evaluation.
