Summary

The Field Service Representative (Detailer) provides hands-on service to Big Box Retail stores, setting up company displays, ensuring adequate inventory levels and resolving day-to-day customer and store issues.

Steel-toe shoes are required.


Responsibilities:

Visit designated stores weekly, merchandising inventory, sorting bins and attending to general housekeeping duties. Stores may change based on business demands.
Prepare and process new orders using company-issued equipment.

  • Ensures proper product inventory levels.
  • Bring issues and discrepancies to the attention of the designated store manager and Detailer Supervisor.
  • Work as a liaison between big box stores and the corporate headquarters.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow the store safety rules, and work in a safe and healthy manner.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 35 years in a retail vendor of big box environment or related experience.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office), specifically, MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Strategic thinker, good communicator, and exceptional problem solver.
  • Performs function with a sense of purpose and a degree of urgency.
  • Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical
knowledge.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral & written).
