    We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Petrophysicist for a one-year contract to contribute to our exploration and production activities.

    The Senior Petrophysicist will play a crucial role in evaluating reservoir properties, providing critical data interpretation, and supporting our ongoing efforts to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.

    Conduct petrophysical analysis of well logs, core data, and other relevant geological and geophysical data to assess reservoir properties
    Interpret and integrate well log data, including resistivity, porosity, and saturation logs, to characterize reservoirs accurately
    Collaborate with Geologists and Reservoir Engineers to build and update reservoir models, integrating petrophysical data for reservoir characterization
    Ensure the quality and accuracy of well log data and make recommendations for log acquisition programs
    Evaluate formation properties, fluid behavior, and rock mechanics to support reservoir development strategies
    Assist in reservoir risk assessment and decision-making by providing petrophysical insights
    Stay current with industry trends and technology advancements in petrophysical analysis and recommend their adoption as appropriate
    Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Geologists, Geophysicists, Reservoir Engineers, and Drilling Engineers to achieve project goals
    Post-secondary degree in Geology, Geophysics, Engineering or a related field
    Demonstrate expertise in petrophysical analysis with a proven track record
    Proficient in Schlumberger's Techlog and Petrel software
    Familiarity writing, troubleshooting and executing Python scrips within Techlog
    Experience in QA/QC and management of large inventories of well log data
    Familiarity designing formation (e.g. core/cuttings) analysis acquisition programs and integrating the results into petrophysical models
    Contribute to reservoir characterization, including identifying hydrocarbon-bearing zones and net pay calculations
    Practical field experience providing insights into well logging operations and data acquisition
