As an Analyst, Procurement Intake, you will contribute to the overall success of the Global Procurement Services department serving the global enterprise, by ensuring that your specific individual goals, goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

You will ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Is this role right for you? In this role you, will:

  • Operate the Procurement Intake function whose goal is to direct intakes for goods and services to the right channel for negotiation, contracting or ordering
  • Review intakes for goods and services for completeness and compliance. Set up Action Plans in the system to obtain additional information or documentation as needed. Interact with Requestors verbally for clarifications
  • Use the Procurement Intake and Risk Assessment tool to review intakes, create action plans, action intakes, search for information etc.
  • Use Bank tools to search for information relevant to intakes (e.g. Software Standards portal, Contract Database)
  • Monitor the intake mailbox
  • Interact with other teams in the Bank Technical Teams to facilitate technical issue resolution where required
  • Interact with users to indicate next steps, as needed
  • Log information in internal trackers as needed

As a member of Procurement Operations, you will:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions to execute activities and pay strong attention to detail to ensure data quality and consistent delivery of service within the Services Level Objective / Operating Level Agreement
  • Identify gaps or opportunities in our process or platforms, and make improvement recommendations
  • Contribute to organizing and maintaining document repositories in SharePoint
  • Escalate issues to your Senior Analyst and Manager, and tracks to resolution
  • Review and update SOPs/WIs as needed to reflect latest process
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members
  • Contribute to or assist in crossfunctional initiatives
  • Prepare reports that provide volumes, performance, and other relevant metrics (based on KPIs, and insights sought). May require data extraction from systems, review of data quality, data manipulation. The report may be in PowerBI.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • High school diploma or higher
  • 2+ years of operations, help desk, support service, project management, business analysis, business process improvement, and/or business in general
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to be detail oriented
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • High level of selfmotivation and initiative, ability to operate effectively as a team player
  • Good customer service skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical skills, data collection and manipulation experience
  • Experience contributing and delivering effective presentations to management
  • Experience with Coupa, Icertis or other Procurement software is an asset
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) is an asset
