**Job Summary: **Vale has a great opportunity available for an experienced Ag Equipment Technician to be a part of our custom products
assembly and equipment commissioning team. Vale Industries is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with lots of

**Duties and Responsibilities: - Read documents, computer screens, blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout
- and procedures
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain
- Gain and maintain efficiencies by following lean principles
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

- 2+ years' experience in general assembly work or specialized training
- Experienced with a variety hand tool and power tools
- Manufacturing experience in an agricultural or aggregate + mining environment an asset
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other drawings
- Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines; willing to work extra shifts when required
- Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the flexibility to handle changing
- Basic math and communication skills required
- Able to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment/able to work under pressure
- Ability to install and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to install and troubleshoot airbrake systems
- Leadership experience an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to accurately fit parts
- Overhead crane and forklift training an asset (but not required)
- Experience rigging and safe handling of components
- WHMIS training an asset
- Detailoriented
