Join our Ascensia team as a Senior Trade Category Manager and lead the charge in developing and executing innovative trade marketing plans.

Drive volume and spending objectives while aligning with channel and brand strategies. Foster collaboration between trade, sales, and marketing teams to maximize business potential. Provide valuable category insights and recommendations to key retailers. Work closely with the brand team to translate marketing plans into strategic trade programs. What you will be doing:

Collaborate with National Account Managers to develop and execute personalized programs for National pharmacy banners.
Accountable to oversee 1 National trade account within Canada
.Provide mentorship for new KAM or Territory Business Representatives with special development assignments with the Trade Team.
Manage projects from concept to execution.

Partners with multiple external agencies, creative agencies and promotional agencies, to produce program strategies and executions to deliver customer specific programs.

Work alongside sales operation and field sales to coordinate execution plans of new customer programs and new product launches.
Conduct post mortem analysis on trade initiatives to determine success of programs, ROI impact and develop best practices.
Develop national retail/trade programs that increase efficiency in the new business environment

Can help to develop and drive the strategic national projects in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, that impacts directly P&L of Canadian organization.

Deliver customized programs and develop strategies for each National banners in order to grow Ascensia Diabetes Care Canada's market share.

Oversee of one national trade account and associated revenue.
Key liaison between SMT (in communication of market insights from the pharmacy perspective), brand team, field sales and trade sales


Skills you will need:

Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration of courses in business
5+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, customer marketing or in combination within consumer packaged goods environment
Ability to work in a complex environment dealing with continuous change and occasional conflicting priorities
Strong project and program management skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision making at the functional/ management level
Strong presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills for a fast paced team environment
Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks
