Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be bulk picking grocery product orders, which includes lifting heavy items. The environment is busy and requires a high attention to detail and awareness of your surroundings. We would like to hire one order picker with opportunity for overtime.

Duties:

• Order picking
• Palletizing in an efficient and safe manner;
• Operating an electric pallet mover in a safe manner;
• Safe lifting of products;
• Being mindful of Occupational Health and Safety principals;
• Operating a forklift and pallet jacks; (where required and licenced to do so);
• Completing tasks in good time;
• Perform administrative tasks as required, such as maintaining inventory records;
• Other tasks as required from time to time

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience essential. FMCG/Food distribution highly regarded.
• Full Canadian working rights
• Have a track record of accuracy and productivity,
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
• Have a positive attitude and able to work well in a team
• Comfortable lifting 45lbs of weight
• Valid Canadian Driver's License and access to own car is advantageous due to the nature of the role and location of the warehouse

An honest and reliable picker who has the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will have demonstrated punctuality and commitment to your work from your previous work history and be comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
