Our experienced Service technicians are thoroughly trained on maintenance and repair for natural gas and diesel powered engines and generators, transfer switches, and fuel systems.

Also in the field, we have a projects team that supports our customers' needs for turnkey generator and fuel system installations.

Our solutions are cost effective and leverage our field experience to ensure our customers receive a solution that works.


Genrep is positioned for significant growth, and we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and organized Service Coordinator to manage and plan the work schedules of our Service Technician team.

The main objective of the Service Coordinator/Dispatcher will be to maximize revenue by fully utilizing and scheduling our Service Technician fleet, while ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.


The Opportunity:
Genrep is looking for an organized and professional Service Dispatcher to join our team.

The purpose of the Service Dispatcher is to perform the scheduling of Service orders/jobs with Genrep's customers and performing the dispatching of work to the Field Service Technicians while maintaining the service schedule.

This includes ensuring the Field Service Technicians are scheduled in a manner to maximize revenue while ensuring the orders are executed in accordance with customer requirements and pre-determined scheduling requirements such as customer compliance.

As a customer facing position, the Service Dispatcher needs to develop and sustain strong customer relations while ensuring a focus is placed on customer satisfaction.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage service schedule to maximize Field Service Technician utilization and efficiency
  • Manage Service order/job backlog to minimize overdue orders/jobs while ensuring customer compliance is maintained
  • Scheduling and coordinating with customers and Field Service Technicians while ensuring the proper resources are scheduled for the proper work, including tooling, Technicians, etc
  • Utilize various systems for dispatching work, maintaining a schedule/calendar for all required locations and updating order/job schedule date
  • Provide superior internal/external customer service and maintain high quality standards in all activities including all methods of communications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Team members including Service Coordinator, Field Service Supervisor and Field Service Technicians
  • Performing all duties in a safe manner; reading and following all Genrep Health & Safety policies
  • Following all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required by business needs

Desired Skill, Knowledge, and Experience:


  • Minimum three (3) years' work experience in a similar administrative/order management/scheduling capacity
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for order management and scheduling
  • Ability to function in a demanding environment supporting customers critical equipment
  • Ability to develop technical understanding work being performed
  • Bilingual in English and French is imperative
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a solid business acumen
  • Computer proficiency with a thorough knowledge of MS Office
  • Team player with superior time management, skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbally and in writing in English and French
  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and practice solid decision making

Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Salary:
$50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
