Rent Ready Person/Wash Bay

As we continue to respond to the requirements of our customers and staff, our day shift in our Guelph facility, we are excited to advise that we're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician.

This is a busy, team-oriented shop in our _
Southern Ontario_ region that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.

Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of shop, yard and branch;
General building maintenance;
Maintaining and servicing rental equipment, making minor repairs on equipment plus performing preventative maintenance, oil / filter changes;
Quality control involving detailed inspection for defects on rental units.
Assisting other technicians as needed;
Assisting with drivers, shop technicians and customers as needed.

Qualifications:

Forklift operation experience;
Knowledge of construction equipment and mechanics;
Technical aptitude and organization skills are preferred;
Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
A selfstarter, with a keen sense of timemanagement and effective planning skills;
Good communication and people skills.

This is an excellent entry-level position for an individual looking to gain experience in a mechanic shop.
