    Description

    What you'll do:

  • You will complete required safety and training inspections and reports for the delivery unit daily, identifying and logging defects found and reporting any major defects to supervisor.
  • Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance procedures are carried out on company vehicles. Consistently adhere to all standard work procedures, policies, rules, regulations and guidelines to safely operate commercial vehicles as per Transport Canada requirements.
  • You will be required to schedule and carry out propane deliveries in agricultural, commercial and domestic markets in a safe, timely and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service. Overtime and weekend shift work will be required to service customers' needs including participating in an On-Call program.

    The Customers: You will demonstrate customer focus while supportingand promoting the sale and use of Co-op Propane, providing customer service to all retail personnel, customers, and co-workers.

    Who you are:

    You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

  • Have a Grade 12 education
  • You are required to have a Class 3A license, a clean drivers abstract.
  • A minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience is required. Prior experience delivering propane or fuel is considered an asset.
  • You must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and participate in an on-call program implemented by the supervisor to adequately service customer needs as required.
