We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Days Inn & Suites Sault Ste Marie. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and common areas.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position working approximately 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors;
• Dusting furniture and fixtures;
• Vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture;
• Making beds and changing sheets;
• Stocking linen closets;
• Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances;
• Handling and reporting lost and found items;
• Attending to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items;
• Picking up debris and emptying trash containers;
• Washing windows, walls, and ceilings;
• Cleaning changing rooms and showers;
• Addressing customers' complaints or concerns.
