Reporting to the Manager of HR Technology & Workforce Analytics, the HR Technology & People Analytics Consultant provides technical and functional expertise in the development, support, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Lakeridge Health's HR Technology Stack.

The HR Technology & People Analytics Consultant is a key role in Lakeridge Health's People Services Division and will be heavily involved in projects that redefine our people processes and technology including the implementation of new scheduling software, delivering high quality data analytics, automation of transactional work, and providing an elevated employee experience.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Technology and Process Support

  • 35%
  • Provide on going technical support to system/process owners to administer, maintain, configure and improve HR Systems and related business processes
  • Investigate system errors, solve issues, provide guidance to users and system/process owners for the Hospital's HR Technology Stack including Virtuo HRIS, Payroll Interface, Meditech Payroll, and Sharepoint forms
  • Manage and audit HR Technology user security
  • Configure, update, test functional aspects of Virtuo HR
  • Provide guidance to HR management and HR system/process owners on how to execute HR transactions in the system
  • Identify and document business requirements related to new or amended policies and processes and the system capabilities to meet those requirements
Project Implementation

  • Creating and documenting conceptual mockups and process maps of the existing processes and recommending new desired state based on best practices
  • Gather and document business requirements, gaps, recommendations, tobe processes / procedures, functional requirements, configuration, conversion rules, data mapping
  • Create test strategies outlining test cases and steps for functional testing
  • Lead unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
  • Assisting in the management of the requirements and change control throughout large projects with Manager, HR Technology & Workforce Analytics and complete change management requirements for smaller projects independently.
  • Creating and updating project status reports and milestones
People Analytics

  • 25%
  • Compiles, analyses, and submits HR data to comply with legislative HR requirements.
  • Support data governance processes by monitoring data quality, addressing or escalating issues, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Audits, monitors and maintains data integrity by creating standards, policies, processes and controls.
  • Perform continuous improvements to tools, data and reports developed or used by the HR teams.
  • Identify and implement standard methodologies as it relates to analytics and reporting requirements, including documenting report purpose, usage, target audiences, sources, and datasets.
  • Help enable selfservice within the Hospital by using easy to understand tools; provide end user training for the dashboards / reports.
  • Develop a structure to efficiently manage the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly operational reports including creation, distribution, follow up and resolution of any issues within systems.
  • Help build capability for team members to acquire data through their own queries and build their own reports.
Change Management and HR Technology Service Delivery

  • Identify HR Technology training needs
  • Deliver organized training for new systems as required
  • Create quality, easy to use, end user training materials, manuals and quick reference guides on the HR Systems
  • Create video tutorials and frequently asked questions documents to aid in training
  • Refresh documentation as and when upgrades or changes occur

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, and/or supplemented by Information Systems training
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with data and generating reports preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of ERP Software
  • Ability to communicate and influence different levels of management
  • Highly process oriented with developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, problem solving ability and critical thinking skills
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel such as performing vlookups and creating pivot tables
  • Knowledge and experience of Human Resources processes and trends
  • Experience in business analysis and associated consultation with users and other stakeholder
