Mechanical Apprentice who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys learning and working with new technology to join our expanding
Maintenance in a full-time role.

Under the direction of a skilled tradesperson, the
Mechanical Apprentice is responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of tissue converting lines and auxiliary equipment:

Job Duties

Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities for machine breakdowns as necessary.
Maintain production and facility equipment in working condition for maximum uptime.
Perform outlined procedures for regular machine preventive/predictive maintenance program
Complete work assignments as directed through assignment of work orders; ensure work completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Complete all paperwork as required
Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs.
Adhere to and maintain compliance with established policies and procedures
Develops and maintains effective relations with all company employees at various organizational levels

Requirements:

Post-Secondary education in a skilled trades discipline or relevant work experience
A strong attendance and safety record
The ability to complete forklift and working at heights training
Ability to work in a shift environment
Strong motivation with the ability to work independently or as a team member
