Design Studio Coordinator

As the Design Studio Coordinator you will be responsible for processing the Design Appointment paperwork, maintaining Status Reports and updates on all the lots and units.

You will also assist the Design Studio Director in Project Set Up including inputting pricing into the databases.

Daily Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Design Studio Status Report for Appointment tracking using Asana
• Assist Design Studio Director in keeping Inventory List and Studio Samples current
• Assist Customer Service in managing Appointment calendars for 6 Design Consultants
• Assist Design Studio Director in preparing Price Charts for Design Consultants from Contract pricing and take offs for upcoming sites
• Manage new Project Set Up, Product Library maintenance and overall updating of Newstar/DSM Systems/Builderlynx
• Biweekly walk through of the Design Studio to ensure all samples and labels are presentable and order replacement samples and prepare new labels if required

Back Up Duties

• Answer and filter incoming calls, record and distribute messages to Design Studio staff
• Prepare files for new Agreements and ensure that accurate Floor Plans and Schedules are included with Agreement
• Prepare Construction Status Reports for all upcoming Colour Chart appointments
• Maintain filing system for completed files on an ongoing basis
• Prepare and send notices to Purchasers regarding deadlines to finalize selections

Experience & Requirements

• Understanding of Design Studio environment is preferred
• Experience with Newstar/Builderlynx or comparable Design Studio Database is an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of Purchasing and Contracts is an asset
• Customer Service and retail experience is an asset
• Ability to problem solve and mediate in matters involving Purchasers
• Strong organization and analytical skills required
• Strong data entry skills with high degree of accuracy is required
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience and comfort in Administrative role with heavy focus on numbers and spreadsheets
• Ability to work well independently and in a Team environment

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
