    The APAC Energy & Infrastructure team works with sponsors, investors and banks to create and maintain strong financial structures for projects.

    We apply this throughout the project lifecycle, from development and financial close through to the operating phases of projects.

    The team has built up an extensive track record in project finance transactions in over 30 markets, supporting investment funds, developers, global contractors and other sponsors and lenders.

    Deliver and help to develop financial modelling training courses across the Asia Pacific region from a base in Sydney.

    This role is part of the global financial modelling community, collaborating with teams from Singapore, London, Paris, Toronto, New York and Delhi on quality and course development.

    It sits within the Mazars APAC Energy and Infrastructure team, working alongside our model audit, model build and valuations teams to deliver value for our clients.

    In-house training to a utility company in Melbourne or an investment banking team in Sydney
    Public training courses to a range of project finance lenders, developers and advisors in Australia's major capital cities
    Tailored acquisition and valuation training for capital advisors and lenders in Australia
    A digital training course for a banking client with teams distributed across the Asia Pacific region
    Development and delivery of webinars on topics of interest from project finance to financial modelling

    A keen interest in sharing financial modelling knowledge in blogs, social media and webinars
    An enthusiastic and genuine interest in financial modelling for project finance and infrastructure and a dedication to improving and spreading our financial modelling methodology
    An open mindset for new cultures and locations, and travel across Australia and New Zealand for training courses
    A strong desire to deliver the best possible service for our clients and an interest in business development to develop strong client relationships

    A high level of confidence in financial modelling for PF/energy/infra is required but technical expertise is not the ultimate driver of success.

    Strong coaching and presentation skills are more important as you will be surrounded by a world-class financial modelling team that can solve any technical challenges.

    Tailoring and delivery of financial modelling training courses
    Delivery of training courses online and in-person across Australia and various timezones in the APAC region
    Manage and prepare a program of financial modelling tutorials, blogs and webinars
    Using social media such as LinkedIn to promote Mazars, our services, training courses and learning materials
    Utilise personal professional network to leverage new business and generate discussions to promote Mazars and our capabilities
    Secure and deliver financial modelling presentations (marketing) to business schools, corporates and professional organisations
    Collaborate with the wider team and global offices to develop new training courses based on client conversations and demand to grow our portfolio
    Be pro-active in maintaining and developing strong client relationships with an aim of developing business opportunities for wider Mazars services as well as training
    Work closely with our training administration team to ensure class registrations, attendance and venue considerations are correctly managed
    Contribute to technical discussions on our financial modelling methodology and refinement of our teaching materials in line with this
