Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Train and mentor youth and children in designing, programming, and building robots
  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum on robotics concepts, including programming, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and material science
  • Teach programming languages relevant to robotics, particularly Python and Arduino
  • Guide students through prototyping, manufacturing techniques, and CNC machining
  • Document robot designs and processes comprehensively
  • Transfer robotics knowledge effectively to learners of varying skill levels
  • Manage and coordinate a team of inexperienced assistants
  • Inspire students and foster a positive learning environment

Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical and Material Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM
  • Strong knowledge of Python and Arduino programming
  • Solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and material science
  • Proficient in manufacturing techniques, CNC machining, 3D printers, and prototyping
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate with youth effectively
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to document robotic designs and processes
  • Passion for education and empowering youth in STEM
