Description

PURPOSE:

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule.
Entering, updating, and processing customer orders on various interfaces.
Accurately enter data and create various reports for internal / external use.
Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers.
Coordinate with billing to ensure accurate invoicing.
Collaborates and offers assistance to other team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
Performs related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and General Manager.
Wellversed in supply chain management principles and practices
Complete all tasks accurately and timely
Organize weekly billing reports with back up and POD's.
Verify and enter customer sell rates with agreed customer rate tariffs.
Confirm accruals are correct with our agreed costs from partners.
Review any problem payables and resolve billing errors.
Run customer weekly shipping reports for various customers.
Help organize filing of shipment files.
Assist accounts receivable departments with collecting monies from customers.
Show professionalism everyday towards all departments, staff, carriers, customers and drivers.
Attitude is expected to be positive, motivated, and focused at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

1+ years of experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

LANGUAGE:
English

COMPUTER:
Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, WMS system

PERSONAL:

Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Must possess a strong work ethic.
Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and decisionmaking skills.
Strong knowledge of North American geography.
Experience with cross border shipping requirements.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, tactical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
