    Job Summary and Requirements

    AMENDMENT - April 20, 2024.

    This is an until –filled competition. Candidates are encouraged not to delay submitting their application as this posting can close at any time with 24-hours posted notice. Resumes will be screened at regular intervals until the position is filled or the competition closes, whichever is earliest.

    This posting will be Casual and/or Auxiliary Labourer positions in Beaver Creek. It will be ongoing for the 2024 season.

    Essential Qualifications (what we are looking for in your resume):

  • Related work experience preferably in highway maintenance or highway construction
  • Related work experience with traffic control would be an asset
  • Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability

    Candidates should have and may be assessed on:

  • Dedicated to working in an environment which promotes respect, dependability and reliability
  • Motivation to learn
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing conditions
  • Willing to work to contribute to the team environment


  • Conditions of Employment:

    Must possess and maintain a valid Yukon Class 5 driver's licence; Transportation Dangerous Goods Certificate (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).



    Job Requirements:

    Travel, working in adverse weather conditions, mandatory use of personal protective equipment, adhering to the safety program and all applicable policies and procedures, shift work, and working outside of headquarters area for extended periods of time.
