Crystal Lodge is currently seeking to recruit a Housekeeping Coordinator to help lead our housekeeping department The role of the Housekeeping Coordinator serves as a link between management and the employees they supervise.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
- Oversee all Supervisors, Room Attendants, House Persons, Night Cleaners, and Laundry Attendants
- Act as relief for the Housekeeping Manager in their absence
- Ensure daily property inspections are being performed
- Ensure room inspections are performed daily
- Liaise effectively with the front office department regarding the daily reports
- Assist supervisors and staff as deemed necessary
- Assist in training, scheduling, developing, and coaching of housekeeping staff
- Coordinate with Sales team to ensure proper setup of meeting rooms and conferences services
- Maintaining Lost & Found inventory
- Attend monthly departmental meetings lead by the Director of Housekeeping
WHAT YOU BRING
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Minimum 1+ year experience in a supervisor role preferably in housekeeping
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures, i.e., WHMIS/MSDS
- Exceptional problemsolving skills
