Crystal Lodge is currently seeking to recruit a Housekeeping Coordinator to help lead our housekeeping department The role of the Housekeeping Coordinator serves as a link between management and the employees they supervise.

Coordinators assist and guide the housekeeping team to perform their job in the most productive means possible.


WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  • Oversee all Supervisors, Room Attendants, House Persons, Night Cleaners, and Laundry Attendants
  • Act as relief for the Housekeeping Manager in their absence
  • Ensure daily property inspections are being performed
  • Ensure room inspections are performed daily
  • Liaise effectively with the front office department regarding the daily reports
  • Assist supervisors and staff as deemed necessary
  • Assist in training, scheduling, developing, and coaching of housekeeping staff
  • Coordinate with Sales team to ensure proper setup of meeting rooms and conferences services
  • Maintaining Lost & Found inventory
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings lead by the Director of Housekeeping

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Previous housekeeping experience
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a supervisor role preferably in housekeeping
  • Knowledge of health & safety procedures, i.e., WHMIS/MSDS
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills
