Qualifications:

THP is committed to internal talent, and therefore priority will be given to internal applicants.

Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
NRP Certification required
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (I.B.C.L.C.)
BCLS required
Three years current experience in Mother Baby Unit and NICU preferred
Demonstrated aptitude in providing breastfeeding support and direction
Demonstrated commitment to patient and familycentred care and developing therapeutic relationships
Expertise in adult learning and patient teaching principles preferred
Experience in a consulting role preferred
A positive work and attendance record is essential
