What we require from you:

-
Preference given to those with Service Rig experience, Service Rig experience required for Derrickhand positions:

• Position-related safety tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid w/CPR, CSO, Fall Arrest)
• Full class 5 license (nonGDL) or higher Driver's License, air brakes as asset
• Current Drivers' Abstract
• Ability to pass drug testing and be fit for duty
• Physically fit and able to work long hours in all types of weather conditions
• Willing to work locally or out of town

Fluent English Skills, due to Safety:

• Safety orientated with a positive CAN-DO attitude

Entry Level Duties & Responsibilities:

Throughout a regular work day
, Floorhands can expect to perform the following duties:

• Clean and maintain the rig floor
• Assist the Derrickhand and Driller on the rig floor or with other tasks
• Clean and maintain the rig and its equipment
• Assist with Blow Out Prevention (BOP) procedures
• Help run tubing/rod in and out of well
• Assist in moving the rig to and from locations ("rigging up" and "rigging out")
• Follow all company safety regulations

Throughout a regular work day,
Derrickhands can expect to perform the following duties:

• Assists the operator in rigging up and down, lining up the well service rig with the well
• Sets hydraulic jacks, handles pads/boards and assists in attaching the guy wires to the anchor
• Responsible for all elevated work associated with rigging up/down (i.e. removing horse head from pumping unit)
• Responsible for all work performed for the rod basket and tubing board (transferring rods and tubing from the vertical racks to the elevator), performs servicing on the well.
• Drives the crew truck as needed
• Operates tubing elevators for standing tubing in derrick.
• Assists in picking up or laying down tubing, manually lifting the tubing from the rack onto the work floor or vice versa
• Assists in walking the rods when laying down rods
• Reports any safety hazards, accidents or maintenance issues to the rig supervisor
• Ensures that work carried out is in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations
• May be required to work floors or operate the rig when needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Previous experience as a carpenter, general laborer, roofer, landscaper, heavy equipment operator, construction, pipefitting, oil and gas, energy services, drilling rig, mining, rig, oilfield, diamond drilling, directional drilling, oil&gas, oil & gas, leasehand, motorhand, etc.
