Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • The role's primary duties and responsibilities are aligned with the maturity phases of the preventative maintenance system development and implementation.
  • Manage and grow FIIX, the enterprisewide Computerized Maintenance Management System:
  • Work alongside SECURE Operations leaders to grow and implement FIIX using a phased and prioritized approach
  • Manage the Preventative Maintenance Team, within the larger Asset Integrity group
  • Support in the standardization and oversight of asset inspection, maintenance, safety and regulatory compliance activities
  • System Vendor Management. Manage the FIIX software vendor relationship keeping informed of product enhancements, new features, and related benefits


  • Cost Management

  • Operate the PM system and manage the broader PM program within a mandate and budget approved by management
  • Support the program's users:
  • Actively support 150 FIIX users, both in the field and at in the corporate office.
Support front-line leaders in the field and support teams by training Operations staff to use the Preventive Maintenance Software:


  • Management of asset records
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Work with business unit leaders to forecast Capital and Operations planning and expenditures
  • Provide oversight and governance to the Preventive Maintenance program
  • Audit program implementation and performance
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement activities to ensure the program grows with the business
  • Create and manage relevant Program Documentation
  • Liaise with other program owners to ensure business continuity is maintained (ex. CCM / MOC / DAM / AIMS / QCP)
  • Uphold the integrity of the Database to ensure effectiveness of the system
  • Quality Assurance
  • Work with business leaders to ensure work order compliance is being met through dashboards, audits, and inspections

Qualifications/Competencies:


The individual in this role will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in engineering, technical studies, or the sciences. Equivalencies earned through work experience will be considered
  • Minimum five years Asset Management, Integrity, Preventive Maintenance, Operations Experience or a combination of
  • Experience in the energy industry, either in the office or in the field
  • Proven track record of building trust with field operations
  • Project Management experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to run, maintain, and evolve a largescale, highly impactful business program
  • A structured and methodical approach to problemsolving is critical
  • Driven to provide quality customer service to all levels of an organization. "How can I Help" mentality
  • Change management skills and the ability to motivate people in an organization to conduct routine activities in an improved manner
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage stakeholders and system users
