  • We define, collect, analyze, project, maintain, and disseminate institutional data, information and research about all aspects of the university.
  • We provide information, options, and assessment to serve the planning, decisionmaking, and performance measurement needs of the university.
  • We are responsible for reporting official university data to faculty, staff, students, provincial and federal governments, external institutions and agencies, and the general public.

About the Role


The Intermediate Analyst works as a member of the Analyst team and is responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative information analysis and reporting to support strategic decision and policy-making by the university's senior administration.

The Intermediate Analyst researches, compiles information, conducts analyses, and prepares reports on a variety of issues for internal uses and also for dissemination to external agencies.

The Intermediate Analyst assists in the development, updating, and management of data and information in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) databases.

This role also extracts data and information from other internal and external sources to prepare ad hoc and recurring reports and assessments.

The Intermediate Analyst responds to internal and external requests for information, data analysis and to institutional surveys from ranking and other external agencies.

As a member of the Analyst team, the incumbent of the position contributes to the design and development of information systems and the identification of the university's future information needs.
