To support our North American team, we are looking for a CAD Specialist to join us.

You will be working closely with our global team of experts to present detailing expertise on numerous bridges, marine, and tunnel design projects.


Your key responsibilities will be to:
Be a CAD Lead on bridge, marine, and tunnel projects responsible for overseeing the CAD staff on the project and coordinating with the engineering team
Perform design/drafting assignments working closely with Engineers
Establish CAD standards for projects and implement them within the CAD team, including external sub-consultants
Prepare engineering drawings of plans, elevations, and cross-sections and details of bridge, marine, and tunnel structures from rough sketches or from general engineering design information according to established standards and procedures
Work collaboratively in a team environment with other CAD Technicians and Engineers to ensure the quality of detailing is consistent with the Company's production and design standards and
Perform other tasks as required

On top of that, you will have:
Technical or vocational school education with an emphasis in CAD, along with at least 10 years of experience CAD detailing on infrastructure (bridges, tunnels, marine) or heavy civil projects
Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation and have experience with ProjectWise and managing medium to large CAD teams across multiple firms and disciplines
Proficiency in 3D modelling (Civil 3D, Revit, or Tekla) preferred
Good independent decision-making skills with an awareness of when to draw on others' experience and knowledge
Working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques and demonstrated ability to see a project through to completion
