Production Technician (Manufacturing, Entry-Level)

Company Description

Responsibilities

Build and install machine components for mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Perform preventative and active maintenance on machine equipment including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, calibration and troubleshooting.
Train to operate machinery used in the material purification process.
Collect and compile operational or experimental data and assist in the development of estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
Collect and analyze data and samples in support of quality assurance.
Develop manufacturing and processing procedures and variables, set machine and equipment controls, oversee production and inspect processes.

Qualifications

Education: o Bachelor's degree in; chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, computer engineering, engineering physics, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering; or o Diploma or certificate in; engineering and science technology, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, or CNC machinery
Technical/hard skills: o Working knowledge of hand, power and electrical testing tools o PLC Programming: experience with internal logic would be an asset but is not required.
Teamwork: ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
