Administrative Assistant supporting the fun and dynamic
Nurse Practitioner Team. You will provide confidential administrative support when connecting with external and internal clients as the primary point of contact for your Director.
In this key role you will:
- Manage calendars including scheduling and coordinating meetings
- Perform timekeeping duties and review labour distribution reports
- Receive, review, and processes information and takes followup action as required
- Develop and implement new work methods and procedures. Identifies problems, develop alternate solutions, and implement changes
- Review the expenditures for budget reports by capturing, compiling, and calculating information
- Book and set up meeting rooms, prepare meeting agenda, organize meeting materials, record and prepare minutes of meeting. Conduct or ensures followup on action items from meeting
You will take a thorough, hands-on approach to deliver high quality and precise work. You will carry a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Here is what we would like you to have:
- Graduated from a recognized administrative or secretarial program.
- Three years' recent related experience in a large complex business environment or health care environment.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable._

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
Working in support of creating remarkable patient experiences, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Directors within Professional Practice.
Performs duties such as drafting and typing a variety of documents, maintaining calendars and preparing for meetings and events, generating a variety of reports and materials, assisting with the implementation and evaluation of training programs, assisting with staff onboarding, maintaining core documents and website, and developing and implementing new work methods and procedures.
