ABOUT THE JOB


This positions is responsible for assisting the Rooms Manager with overseeing the day to day operations of the front office.

The team includes front desk, switchboard, night audit and bell services.

Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.


Improves service by communicating and assisting team members to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.

Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service, and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations. Empowers team members to provide excellent customer service.

Monitors and reviews Guest Satisfaction Metric and other data to identify areas of improvement. Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.


OUR REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2-3 year diploma or degree from an accredited college or university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major;
Minimum 3 years managerial experience in hotel guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area;
Extensive knowledge of Opera and familiarity with computer software (Microsoft Office, Payroll, Guest App, Key Control)

A critical thinker who leads the team in a collegial manner would be ideal.
