Birmingham's Vodka and Ale House is looking for an energetic, amazing Executive Chef to lead a team of cooks and operate our kitchen.

The Executive Chef position is a working chef position and the applicant will need to have the complete ability to run and operate all areas of the kitchen on a daily basis while managing a culinary team.

The Exec Chef will work directly with the General Manager in executing daily routines in order to maximize food service and meet daily and weekly objectives.

Looking for a true leader that wants to have a real career in this industry. Exec Chef will run the line and command all food performance during rush times.

Salary is negotiated on experience, commitment, and work production. If you are a rockstar chef that crushes it in the kitchen, you will be compensated as such


This job pays a competativesalary, additional Bi-weekly tip pool share, option for profit sharing, and other perks for the right individual.


We Require:

  • Minimum 2 year in Management in high volume kitchens
  • Reliable hard working attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to multitask under high stress situations and meet specific time requirements
  • Friendly, positive and professional attitude

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that the service line of the kitchen is in complete control at all times.
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean and in proper order at the beginning, during and at the end of every shift.
  • Ensure that all menu items and recipes are being prepared according to the restaurants standards at all times.
  • Ensure that all food products is prepared and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations set out by SHA.
  • Ensure that all staff members finish and complete all tasks set out for them during a shift.
  • Following the restaurant's policies, memos and tasks set out by them.
  • Daily and weekly food orders
  • All aspects of Human Resources including hiring, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Weekly Schedules
  • Daily communication with General Manager.
  • Coaching and training all cooks to highest potential

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
