Winnipeg Hyundai Collision Centre is looking to hire a pre-apprenticeship / first or second year body repair apprentice for a high volume, fast growing shop.

Mentored by skilled and experienced Journeyman Autobody Repair Technicians, you will work with the Collision Centre team to assist in vehicle repairs and other Shop related tasks being a valuable asset to the Shop

The Auto Body Apprentice will be responsible for

  • Reviewing work orders
  • Dismantling vehicles and diagnose visual and internal damage
  • Repairing and replace parts reassembling vehicles
  • Maintaining shop equipment and facility
  • Assisting journeyman technicians with various tasks
  • Be ready and willing to help coworkers when an extra set of hands are required, which they are from time to time.
Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Have either completed preapprentice training in collision repair or be in their first or second year of apprenticeship
  • Be comfortable in a teamoriented environment
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity and ambition to succeed
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (flexible schedule)

Salary:
$20.25-$26.25 per hour
