Our Cornwall, ON location is currently recruiting for a part-time Shuttle Operator.

Shuttle Operators are responsible for the operation of Company automobiles, vans and light trucks to delivery automotive parts and accessories through our network.

As Shuttle Operators navigate the same roads as our existing and potential customers, they are expected to represent the Company with exceptional customer service at all times.

As a member of our team the Shuttle Operator will perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles, provide courteous and professional service, maintain a clean driving record at all times, and will also:

Efficiently deliver automotive parts and accessories on a pre-determined route
Report any vehicle issues to the Store Manager and/or the Dispatcher
Update the Store Manager and/or the Dispatcher of any complications with regards to delivery or work related matters
Collect account payments (as required)
Other duties as required
Previous experience as a Shuttle Operator or Delivery Driver
Valid Class G driver's permit
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated computer skills
Familiarity with the Cornwall area (streets, landmarks, etc.)
Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently
Comfortable with lifting (up to 50lbs)
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to read and process invoices/packing slips
Experience working in a teambased environment
Previous warehouse experience in shipping and receiving
Superior timemanagement skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of automotive and/or truck parts and accessories (an asset)
Knowledge of tools and equipment (an asset)
