    Job Overview


    As a Project Supervisor, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and assist in liaising between Keewaytinook Okimakinak and government ministry, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Lead and supervise project teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
    Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
    Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
    Coordinate resources and allocate tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
    Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
    Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify challenges, and brainstorm solutions.
    Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational policies.
    Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Business)
    Proven experience in project supervision, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Proficiency in project management tools and software
    Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
    PMP certification or equivalent would be considered a plus.
    Previous experience working with First Nations Communities considered a plus.

    Contract position until March 31, 2025- with possibility of renewal.
