Weekdays EVENING SHIFT 3.00 pm to 11.30 pm


SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:


The Production Operator - Medical Environment is responsible for ensuring that requirements for all duties related to the assembly and digital printing of medical devices are in compliance with customer specific quality requirements, PreciKam 's Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO13485.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assembly of medical device components designed for drug delivery.
  • Digital printing of medical devices.
  • Operation, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the equipment.
  • Working in and cleaning of Class 7 clean room and general cleaning of department.
  • Perform visual inspection of devices by following quality guidelines.
  • Meticulously recording information on related documentations and reports.
  • Understand of the importance of the job, and of the consequences for the product if procedures are not followed.
  • Other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

DEC in Biopharmaceutical Production Technology or a college diploma in a related field, manufacturing experience an asset.

Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word.

Satisfactory equivalent experience judged by the hiring manager.


EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS:

3 years' experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment or related field as an assembler-operator.
Experience in a highly regulated environment such as ISO 9001 and ISO13485 an asset.
Ability to use complex medical equipment.
Able to work in a Class 7 clean environment fully gowned/ gloved/ masked for extended periods.
Able to concentrate for extended periods.
Must be disciplined in following all applicable rules (particularly cleaning and gowning procedures).
Technically oriented with excellent fine motors skills for component manipulation.
Must demonstrate clear handwriting skills, reading comprehension, basic mathematical skills.
Ability to follow and adhere to good documentation practices (GDP).
Work well under pressure with time constraints within repetitive high-volume environments.
Patience, meticulously detail-oriented, and comfortable with multi-tasking and possess a flexible nature.
Successfully passing the skills and aptitudes tests required for the position.


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT


Precikam's working language is French, however a working knowledge of English is required in the role due to the need to be able to communicate with customer Q/A departments AND regulatory bodies located outside Quebec.
