Job Summary

What is the opportunity?
This role supports our institutional clients and ensures client success through periodic engagement and exceptional service. This team is responsible for providing reactive support to a large portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for understanding and addressing the clients' needs.

They must also build strong relationships across the broader business development, operations, IT, DMO, product and other internal teams critical to the end-to-end client lifecycle.

With a consultative, solutions-oriented approach; they will be expected to demonstrate initiative, energy, and superior execution in growing and maintaining their assigned relationships.


What will you do?

  • Fully understand client requirements and strategic direction
  • Take lead on all commercial and legal contract discussions / negotiations / administration
  • Actively take part to industry events, representing and promoting RBC I&S as a key player in the Canadian custodian landscape.
  • Identification of Cross Sell/Upsell Opportunities and refer where appropriate to BD team
  • Maintain up to date and accurate MCV client profiles including at risk, relationship status, contact and deal information
  • Act as the "voice of RBC I&TS" providing thought leadership and objective insights into the industry's evolution. Influence industry practices.
  • Lead on Strategic Relationship Reviews Yearly/Annually
  • Lead and ownership of Quarterly Service Review Prep and Execution including distribution of SLS Scorecards and KPI's
  • Actively stay up to date on all industry and market and product developments and updates

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of work experience within the Asset Servicing or Asset Management space
  • Experience in account management and interacting with senior level decision makers
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of finance or business
  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are required

Nice-to-have

  • Ability to facilitate digital training programs for clients and experienced clientfacing staff to drive adoption and productivity in both English and French
