Securiguard is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Access Control Database Administrator to join our dynamic team.

As an Access Control Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our client's physical and technological access systems.


This role will be based in Downtown Vancouver, working for a high-profile client in the International Resource Sector, and is a great opportunity for growth for an internal Securiguard team member.


Responsibilities

  • Manage access control systems: Maintain and administrator access control systems, including physical access cards, video surveillance systems (CCTV) and physical access controls.
  • User provisioning and deprovisioning: creating, modifying, and removing user accounts and access privileges based on company policies and procedures.
  • Printing and managing access card issuance.
  • Access control audits: Conduct regular audits of access control equipment to ensure functionality and coordinate maintenance, upgrades or replacement with integrator/technician.
  • Documentation: maintain accurate records and documentation related to access control systems, access requests and security incidents.

Requirements:


  • A valid BC Security Workers License
  • Previous experience providing access control to a corporate office.
  • Tech saavy, with the ability to quickly learn new software systems and databases.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with access control systems such as Lenel.
  • Familiarly with Milestone and Exacqvision (CCTV and video management system) is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Listening mindset and alignment with Securiguard's REACH values (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and Honesty).
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve access control issues.
  • Fluency in verbal and written Spanish language is an asset.
