Description

Securiguard is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Access Control Database Administrator to join our dynamic team.

As an Access Control Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our client's physical and technological access systems.

This role will be based in Downtown Vancouver, working for a high-profile client in the International Resource Sector, and is a great opportunity for growth for an internal Securiguard team member.

Responsibilities

Manage access control systems: Maintain and administrator access control systems, including physical access cards, video surveillance systems (CCTV) and physical access controls.
User provisioning and deprovisioning: creating, modifying, and removing user accounts and access privileges based on company policies and procedures.
Printing and managing access card issuance.
Access control audits: Conduct regular audits of access control equipment to ensure functionality and coordinate maintenance, upgrades or replacement with integrator/technician.
Documentation: maintain accurate records and documentation related to access control systems, access requests and security incidents.

Requirements:

A valid BC Security Workers License
Previous experience providing access control to a corporate office.
Tech saavy, with the ability to quickly learn new software systems and databases.
Computer literacy and familiarity with access control systems such as Lenel.
Familiarly with Milestone and Exacqvision (CCTV and video management system) is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Listening mindset and alignment with Securiguard's REACH values (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and Honesty).
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve access control issues.
Fluency in verbal and written Spanish language is an asset.
