Situé à Varennes, UL Laboratoire Canada inc. est un laboratoire d'essais spécialisés dans l'évaluation des performances des composantes de l'enveloppe du bâtiment. Elle offre une vaste gamme de services en science du bâtiment dont des services d'essais en laboratoire et in situ, de consultation, de mise en service, d'expertise et de formation. Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche de technicien(ne)s de chantier pour rejoindre notre équipe.

    Responsibilities

    • Assistance à la réalisation d'essais normalisés en chantier de construction au niveau de composante de l'enveloppe du bâtiment (fenestration, parement extérieur, etc.)
    • Participation à des travaux d'expertises divers reliés à l'enveloppe du bâtiment
    • Entretien du matériel et des équipements d'essais

    • Knowledge and interest in the construction field
    • Position involving manual, physical, and height-based work
    • Construction site health and safety courses
    • Occasional travel outside the Montreal area
    • Class 5 driver's license. Own a vehicle for travel

    Qualifications

    • High Secondary Education plus three years related experience preferred
    • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers
    • Proven ability to be innovative and creative
    • Responsible, organized, dynamic, independent, and resourceful
    • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must. Ability to incorporate automation into day‑to‑day testing
