    HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

    CONTRACT

    TORONTO, ON (HYBRID)

    The Job

    You will be actively involved in troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to end users and the IT team to resolve them efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Responding to requests for technical assistance via various channels, including in-person, phone, chat, or email
    • Planning, prioritizing, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
    • Providing one-on-one support to employees for hardware/software-related questions and problems
    • Deploying and configuring desktops, laptops, and peripherals
    • Assisting with managing user accounts, access control, and phone system administration
    • Setting up VPN clients and providing remote computer support as needed
    • Installing and troubleshooting software applications
    • Ensuring the complete resolution of issues and following up with users
    • Staying updated on system information, changes, and updates
    • Assisting with updating training manuals for software and hardware
    • Providing setup and support for audio/video conferencing and webinars

    What you bring to the job

    You are someone with excellent working knowledge of end-user hardware, software, and equipment. You stay calm when under pressure and come with the following qualifications and skills:

    • 2+ years of experience in a user-facing Help Desk role
    • Experience with Windows, Azure, Office 365, Hyper-V, and network protocols
    • Strong troubleshooting and help desk support skills
    • Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills
    • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
