Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory department
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
Manage and coordinate laboratory staff, including training and performance evaluations
Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely test results
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to laboratory staff
Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory activities

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent
Knowledge in ELISA/Microarray Tests methods
Experience in phlebotomy
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital laboratory setting
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and quality control measures
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in using laboratory information systems and other relevant software
