Position Description:

The Speech Language Pathologist assesses and treats inpatient speech, resonance, voice or language disorders of children ages You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will communicate and review findings with relevant disciplines.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

Assess and consult with inpatients who have speech, resonance, voice or language difficulties following cancer treatment, surgery, epilepsy, stoke or trauma
Verbal and written reporting
Work with multidisciplinary team and take part in family meetings, rounds and education

Here's What You'll Need

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
Previous experience in paediatric inpatient speech language pathology an asset
Previous experience with Epic an asset
Excellent skills in the areas of verbal and written communication, problemsolving, time management and evidencebased clinical practice
Ability to relate to children and families
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams an asset
