Position Description:


The Speech Language Pathologist assesses and treats inpatient speech, resonance, voice or language disorders of children ages You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will communicate and review findings with relevant disciplines.


Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Assess and consult with inpatients who have speech, resonance, voice or language difficulties following cancer treatment, surgery, epilepsy, stoke or trauma
  • Verbal and written reporting
  • Work with multidisciplinary team and take part in family meetings, rounds and education

Here's What You'll Need

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Previous experience in paediatric inpatient speech language pathology an asset
  • Previous experience with Epic an asset
  • Excellent skills in the areas of verbal and written communication, problemsolving, time management and evidencebased clinical practice
  • Ability to relate to children and families
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams an asset
