Job Requirements
- People Skills
- Must have excellent people skills, be able to answer questions and provide feedback to workers and clients on a daily basis.
- Coach
- Be able to assist workers in completing safety documentation and work with them to improve quality of submitted forms.
- Leadership
- Able to lead by example and provide positive reinforcement to those who follow
- Computer Skills
- Use of computer programs and phone apps are necessary and used multiple times daily
- Knowledgable
- Have prior construction/heavy equipment knowledge to be able discuss safety with employees
Duties
- Review submitted safety documentation
- Provide feedback to workers on safety documents
- Sign up and orientate new workers
- Upload training certification and schedule retraining
- Organize and review driver daily logs and provide feedback
- Other HSE tasks associated with managing a safety program
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in civil construction HSE
- HSA or NCSO designation is an asset
- Safety Tickets
- H2S, First Aid, CSO
- Class 5 license
- Experience with workhub, complyworks, ISNetworld & ecompliance would be an asset
Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
