Description
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Load, handle and transport materials and heavy cargo safely
- Unload various freight via pallet jack, 2wheeler, or by hand
- Hook up and unhook to several trailers a day
- Adhere to HoursofService regulations
- Handle freight documents/manifests
- Promptly deliver customer freight and update dispatch on ETA's
- Complete all other duties as reasonably assigned
Our General Requirements/Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class 1 license
- Must provide a Clean Commercial Drivers abstract; valid within the past 30 days
- Minimum 3 years driving experience with class 1 license
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds unassisted and have physical strength able to lift and carry heavy loads and safely place them on trucks
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Must be bondable
- Deck experience would be an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
