    We are in search of Construction Labourers for a full time position with daily and weekly Overtime paying up to $25/hr

    Job Description:

    Contractors will be working on a large solar field project where they will be assisting with the trenching work and cabling work.

    Contractors will be working around heavy equipment such as excavators and assisting with hand digging around existing piles or conduit, raking sand, and backfilling duties.

    Contractors will be using pound plate tampers, jumping jacks, or operating water pumps as required.

    Could also be asked to help load and unload equipment above equipment.

    They are working on a Civil construction site therefore this position may require bending, twisting, and working on uneven ground.

    Contractors must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in outdoor weather conditions.

    Qualifications:

    • Reliable transportation (Site can be located outside of Calgary, need to be able to travel. Travel time paid for further sites)
    • WHMIS, CSTS, & TDG
    • +1 year of experience with outdoor construction work
    • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Nice to Have Experience:

    • Skid steer or loader experience
    • Previous experience in Civil Construction/Earthworks
    • Ability to use GPS equipment

    Shift:

    • Monday - Saturday
    • Day shift, 7:00am start time
    • hour days
    • OT after 44 hours/week
    • Travel time paid

    Payrate:

    • $22/hr - $25/hr
