mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the ecommerce sector, we are currently looking for a General Manager to join our team at Orckestra.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

Manage an immediate team of 4 to 5 department heads: Sales, Professional Services, Products, Marketing (75 to 80 employees in total).
Ensure the creation and implementation of a growth strategy.
Develop objectives and key performance indicators aligned with strategy.
Engage team in execution of initiatives and monitor achievement of KPIs.
Establish strategy for products, marketing, sales, development, service and support.
Clearly communicate strategy, priorities and results to employees and management team.
Monitor the sales pipeline and the achievement of sales team objectives.
Ensure efficient management of human, financial and technological resources.
Develop the budget, support it with detailed analyses and ensure appropriate operational followup.
Contribute to a healthy risk management.
Ensure fluid and frequent communication (topdown and bottomup) and promote exchanges between the various departments and with others in the company.
Maintain communications with clients and the market.
Be involved in certain key/targeted client activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.
Embody the company's values and foster the right environment for them to be conveyed within the team.
In line with the company's values, ensure healthy employee management while promoting internal development.
Be a leader in the service of the team.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

You have:

Demonstrated managerial skills and collaborative, mobilizing leadership.
Ability to adapt, make decisions and innovate in a competitive and constantly changing environment.
Proven ability to synthesize and analyze, as well as excellent judgment.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada and internationally.
University degree in business administration, business management, or other relevant field.
10 to 15 years of experience that have enabled you to leverage your business acumen.
At least 5 to 7 years' experience in a general management position.
Understanding of software development and web technologies.
Experience in the SaaS technology industry. Experience in the ecommerce sector would be a strong asset.
Experience in successful management of largescale technological implementation projects.
