Job Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that align with students' individual learning needs and curriculum standards
- Deliver clear, engaging instruction on various math topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, differential equations, and discrete math
- Utilize innovative learning technology and digital resources to enhance understanding and retention
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and informal assessments to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and active participation
- Support students with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance in math or related subjects
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and session notes
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mathematics including algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, differential equations, organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, chemical engineering principles,and other advanced STEM subjects
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups and educational levels
- Proficiency with learning technology tools such as virtual classrooms and digital whiteboards
- Excellent tutoring skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently
- Classroom management skills to create an engaging yet disciplined learning environment
Familiarity with working with children, early childhood education practices, preschool experience, and adult education techniques
Strong computer skills including familiarity with data structures and basic programming concepts in computer science or machine learning applications
- Knowledge of classroom experience in various settings including higher education or special education environments
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with different learning styles and needs such as those requiring special education support or early childhood education techniques.
