    Description

    The goal of this job is to fill the role of Network Security Engineer.

    This position requires hands-on involvement in overseeing and managing the creation and execution of network security solutions.

    Additionally, the engineer will handle 2nd and 3rd level support for any network security issues or outages.

    Ensuring optimal security, performance, and availability of the infrastructure for seamless operations.

    Building strong relationships with vendors to back current technology solutions and lay out strategies for Security systems.

    The candidate must be adaptable to working in 24/7 environments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and maintain Checkpoint and Fortinet firewall infrastructure.
    • Provide Architecture, Design, and Implementation for Internet and Extranet Firewall connectivity as per business and InfoSec needs.
    • Project management for Cyber Security tools and products.
    • Support for F5 LTM/GTM load balancers and reverse proxy with WAF configuration
    • Manage McAfee Web Gateway proxy configuration, policy, and ruleset configurations.
    • Setup and support Pulse Secure SSL VPN
    • In-depth knowledge of Citrix NetScaler ADC configuration
    • Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments of all network and security devices.
    • Manage vulnerability remediation of all network and security devices, software, and hardware
    • Create network topology diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
    • Perform other Network Security tasks as assigned.
    • Track and manage licenses status for renewal, upgrade, and compliance of all Network Security devices.
    • Working knowledge of Infoblox tool (IPAM)
    • Resolve operational incident tickets (P1/P2/P3) and service requests within SLA.
    • Collaborate with 3rd-party teams for change implementations
    • Adherence to policies and procedures for incident, problem, and change management.

    Qualifications we are looking for:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Graduate or postgraduate in Technology specialized in Computers or IT
    • Graduate or postgraduate in any field with a Networking course

    Required Skills:

    · 7+ Years of enterprise security experience.

    · 5+ years of Checkpoint, Fortinet Firewalls, F5, etc.

    • Experience with different Cisco platforms: ASRs, Nexus, Catalyst
    • Proficiency in routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
    • Skilled in troubleshooting Layer 2 issues and understanding of STP
    • Competency in dot1x/EAP troubleshooting and NAC issues
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, application troubleshooting via Wireshark, tcpdump
    • Familiarity with McAfee Web Gateways
    • Manage Infoblox DNS entries

    Preferred/Desired Skills:

    • Experience in Banking E-comm network security infrastructure

    · Proficient in ITIL, integration across IPC (incident, Problem & Change Management)

    · Familiarity with NIST standards

    · Strong analytical skills

    · Previous experience in financial services or other regulated industries

    · Solid understanding of security infrastructure and its role in maintaining a robust security posture
