Job Title:
Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control procedures for the production process, from ingredient sourcing to finished product.

Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including BRC and HACCP standards.

Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain quality control plans.

Maintain records of quality control activities, including test results, audits, and corrective actions.

Train employees on quality control procedures and ensure compliance with established protocols.

Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.

Analyze data and identify trends to improve production efficiency and quality.

Manage the supplier approval process and ensure all materials meet quality standards.

Participate in the development of new products and processes, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field.

At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing environment.

BRC and HACCP certification.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with quality control software and statistical process control tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as required.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
