KWE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR AN PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR


KWE is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator who is focused on delivering a world class customer service experience to our valued customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Formal Academic Training in Accounting & Payroll Management, including completion or enrollment in Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or groups of managers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Strong computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity & word processing. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel; including the use of formulas, macros and pivot tables.

DETAILS OF THE JOB

  • Process biweekly payroll; input changes into the HRIS system and check accuracy of payroll related data.
  • Maintain the HRIS system; process employee enrollments, troubleshoot access issues, and facilitate timeclock maintenance.
  • Prepare various monthly reports including, Employee Headcount, Commission, Provincial WCBs, Pension, RRSP, Benefits, and Garnishments.
  • Assist in payroll monthend financial reporting including the preparing and uploading of journal entries.
  • Assist in payroll yearend processes including T4, RL1, and T2200 Reports, WCB/WSIB Reconciliations, EHT annual returns, and Quebec CNESST.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts, prepare spreadsheets/reports on data from various systems as required to assist with strategic analyses to improve company and/or departmental goals.
  • Maintain all HR/payroll document filing system(s) (manual and electronic). Ensure all files are kept confidential/secure and prepare various related reports.
  • Provide back up support to Human Resources staff upon illness and absences. Perform all other jobrelated duties as required by management.
