Analyst - Financial Market Operations
This is an evolving position and is part of a clear and determined development path that can allow you to evolve in your role and, thus, to access different levels of function and propel your career.
A career in Domestic Market Events in the Financial Markets Operations sector at National Bank means putting your expertise to work in the evolution and execution of financial markets business strategy and wealth management.
Thank to your involvement in the various related processes to Domestic Market Events, you participate in the transformation of the Bank.
Your role:
- Analyze information received on market events and write memos for investment advisors
- Collect, compile, and verify the accuracy of the varied and available data and reflect it in the client portfolios
- Identify all risk elements associated with a file or situation
- Analyze securities position and prepare accounting entries to reflect mandatory and optional reorganization events in client accounts
- Interact with the various sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals in order to offer support in daily operations
- Identify the needs of stakeholders, identify the problem presented and adapt your interventions, while providing quality service
This position reports to the Director of Financial Market Operations and you will collaborate daily with a team composed of several experts including Sectors Related to Operations, Business Partners, Traders at different trading desks.
- Your integration consists of training based on learning in action to allow you to master your business, our products and our technologies. You have access to your colleagues with different expertise, experiences and diversified profiles that enrich your development from all points of view.
Required skills:
- Threeyear college or university degree or academic equivalent, and four years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written), French and English bilingualism is required, as you will frequently interact with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French
- Knowledge of securities and various financial products
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Initiative, organization, speed, and precision
Preferred skills:
- Experience related to securities operations, desirable
- Knowledge of ISM, AS400, XSP, desirable
